Street Society
Several fifth year students were joined by six first years to conduct research into various dome types as part of a one week Street Society project. This research began with studies of tiling patterns, geodesic systems and corbelled structures.
From here, we discovered the potential application of the principles of origami and folding patterns; the possibilities of this arrangement was to drive our group into a further study which is currently ongoing.
